Intro： Mara Oscar Cassiani is an artist who works in the fields of digital art , performance, immersive performative environments , streamings, VR technologies applied to the performing arts and bodies as well as face filters as tool for virtual body paint. Their research is centered on the creation of a contemporary visual iconography, in which the images are borrowed from the world of the irl performance to the VR , both streaming and virtual and viceversa. The relationship they maintain with the audience, in an expanded dimension - both live and mediated - is immersive and explored through those specific visual imaginaries, composed both in huge irl set ups and online live streaming. The creation is made up for stimulating the awareness of the discontinuity between visions, reality and the conscience of the user . Active in Italy and Europe, in the 2016 was part in the 16th Art Quadrennial of Rome, "Other Times, Other Myths". Mara Oscar is actually part as artist of the BE PART, Beyond Participation European network, for community based art performances. In the 2019 was awarded of the Digital Award of Roma Europa Festival for the performance SPIRITXROMA , making them the first woman winning a digital art prize in Italy.
