Intro: Fuguo Xue is a final-year undergraduate student majoring in Information Engineering & Media at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Her passion for digital art began when she enrolled in the Issues in Animation Practice course taught by Professor Vibeke Sorensen, where she learned the fundamentals of experimental animation and began contemplating the relationship between art and engineering. Her final project for this course, Cat Jazz, was presented at the NTU ADM End of Semester Show 2020. Since then, Fuguo has explored a diverse range of art and design forms, including experimental animation, interactive experience design, PC games, interactive storytelling, and UI/UX design. Notably, the PC game she co-developed with her friends, "Earthlings," was presented at The International Conference of Undergraduate Research 2022 (ICUR 2022). Fuguo's academic interests now revolve around digital art, with a particular focus on using media technology to explore the intersection of art, engineering, and science. She hopes to leverage her skills and passion to push the boundaries of digital art, bridge the gap between disciplines, and create unique, immersive, and engaging experiences for audiences.
