Roqary

Intro： Qianru Yang (b. 2001, Guangdong, China) is a research-led interdisciplinary visual practitioner based in London. She received an MA in Graphic Communication Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, in 2025, and a BA in Digital Media Art from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2023. Her practice spans moving image, publication, installation and digital media, focusing on the subtle differences that emerge as gestures, materials and images are translated between physical and digital systems. She examines how embodied experience and cultural knowledge are encoded, simplified and reorganised within technological environments.
