Vali Chincisan is an award-winning artist who has received multiple international recognitions for his digital videomapping and animation artworks. In 2022, he won the first prize at WeLightFloripa with his piece "Life is Eryfg" in Brazil. Additionally, he received the third prize at the Mapsion Festival in Finland for "Shards in the Self Shaddow," and the third prize at Lightup Festival in Romania in 2019 for "Hydrus." In 2017, he was awarded the Special Prize of the University of Salamanca in Spain for his piece "Urban Tree," and in 2009, he won the Best Romanian Film at Animest with the same artwork. Vali Chincisan has also showcased his art in various events and exhibitions around the world. In Romania, he had a solo exhibition called "[UN]RELATED TIMES AND TOPICS" at the MNAC.
