Rémi Brun

Intro： Rémi Brun has been working for over 20 years as a movement engineer. He specialises in motion capture for 3D imaging and special effects in the film industry. Through his personal projects, Rémi creates kinetic sculptures that capture the graceful motion of living beings, from animals to humans. These movements range from the delicate and beautiful pirouette of a ballerina to the powerful sprint of a panther chasing its prey. The scope is vast. A person can be recognised purely through the precision of their movement—such as a famous athlete, identifiable by the way they walk, run, or strike a ball. Even animals of distinction can be recognised; for example, a champion stallion can be identified by its trainer simply through the movement of a sculpture.
