Intro： Michelle Hessel is a multimedia artist born in Sao Paulo and based in NYC. Her work inverts traditional storytelling by mixing the traditional and cutting-edge. She utilizes primarily 3D scanning technology to create virtual representations of culture, people, and spaces. Michelle obtained her Master's degree at Tisch School of the Arts and was also a research resident after graduating. Michelle’s projects have been featured by The Economist, VICE Media, Communication Arts and IxDA.
