Intro: Rnul Interactive is a Rotterdam-based interaction design studio, with a focus on designing and realizing spatial interactive installations using modern techniques combining image, sound, light and moving objects. Human interaction is their goal, where technology and content converge. Through the interactions they evoke, people themselves become an essential part of the work. In their work they seek to convey meaningful experiences. Rnul creates both commissioned and autonomous works in museums, exhibitions, festivals, advertising and public spaces, to name a few. They also pursue research and experiments in interaction using different techniques and materials. Rnul was founded in 2007 by Rob Donkers and Aart Muis, both graduates with specialization in interaction design from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. They can rely on a diverse extended network to pursue exciting new projects with external collaborators.
