Intro: My name is Jingcheng. I am a multi-disciplinary designer and narrative composer with a background in architecture design. It is quite an enjoyment for me to utilize a wide range of methods or technology to engage with the audience and apply storytelling as a way of creating immersive installations or any sort of interactive design. My specific focus lies on exploring new technology applied in interactive design and conducting research about humans themselves. I believe these research could have influences on our daily life. I am specifically passionate about creating site-specific pieces that engage people with their environments. My recent work I.F.L.Y explores the interaction between robots and humans by constructing autonomous flying balloons that correspond to the human movement and move in a “lifelike” manner. I incorporated with Target3D company making I.F.L.Y exhibited in Tate Britain Museum and Three Shadows Photography Art Centre.
