About
Angelo Bonello is an Italian multidisciplinary artist and the artistic director of Castadiva Art&Show, a division of the CastaDiva Group.​ Over a career spanning more than thirty years, he has created installations, performances, and large-scale exhibitions across five continents.​ His works, both temporary and permanent, have been staged in some of the world’s most important cities, including London, Toronto, Washington, Riyadh, Singapore, Amsterdam, Beijing, Mexico City, Sydney, and many others.​ He has also worked in some of the most prestigious theatres, such as La Scala in Milano and the Sydney Opera House.​ Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading figures from the worlds of art and entertainment, including Michelangelo Pistoletto, Piero Gilardi, Fabrizio Plessi, Marco Lodola, Dario Fo, Arvo Pärt, Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian, Antonello Venditti, Riccardo Cocciante, and Gigi Proietti, among others, as well as with distinguished institutions such as the Danish Crown, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, and the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.​ Since 2014, he has been the artistic director of major television programs such as Italia’s Got Talent, The Voice, and Telethon, confirming his ability to combine art, entertainment, and media.​ In 2023, he served as the artistic director of Light is Life, the main event of Bergamo and Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023, which attracted over 670,000 visitors—establishing itself as the largest light art exhibition ever held in Italy.​ In March 2026 he served as Artistic Director and Director of the Closing Ceremony of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. He wrote the winning proposal for the Ceremonies of the 20° Mediterranean Games, which he is currently producing with Casta Diva Group, in the role of Director and Artistic Director.
