Intro: Dávid Maruscsák is a Hungarian new media artist. He started to study art in high school. He started to work as a Visual Jockey in various clubs in Košice. Right after graduation, he was accepted to the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. Besides his studies, he started to work as a freelance artist. Mainly, he worked with theaters as a video artist and as a 3D animator in projection mapping projects. He became a member of the Secret Mapping Experiment group. Their primary interest is to create projection mapping on abandoned buildings. He went to Hong Kong to study at the School of Creative Media as an exchange student. In Hong Kong, he explored generative animation techniques. In 2021 he acquired a BA degree in Media Design. After graduation, he moved to Hong Kong to work as a Research Assistant in Christian Sandor's AR-Lab. Inspired by the AR-Lab's mentor, Jeffrey Shaw started to work with immersive systems, such as the Gallery 360 omnidirectional visualization system. Besides his RA tasks, he was working as a Teaching Assistant. He was teaching students how to design Augmented Reality applications for Head-Mounted Displays. Moreover, he became an intern in Disguise, where he designed real-time scenes for virtual production. In the summer of 2021, he came back to Budapest. Since then, he has been working as a freelance media artist. He is deeply interested in Interactive and Immersive Installations.
