Czech-born LA-based multimedia artist exploring resonance & material agency.
Intro: Lenka Morávková is a Czech-born multimedia artist and composer based in Los Angeles. Working across immersive installation, sound art, sculpture and moving image, her practice explores resonance, material agency and ecological transformation. She is the creator of the Bohemian Cristal Instrument, a one-of-a-kind living crystal sound sculpture that transforms the tradition of Czech glassmaking into a contemporary immersive medium. Rather than treating glass as a static material, she activates it as a living entity through sound, light and human presence. Her work has been presented internationally at institutions and festivals including The Broad (Los Angeles), TEDx, Eurosonic, Burning Man and ISEA.
