他者 the other Original

《他者》是由多个“机器”共同构建组成的。每一个“机器”都与其它机器生成，然后可以被生成性的阅读。《他者》中出现了倒吊人、愚人、马戏团、麻风病人、炼金术的药瓶、愚人船、狼人、哲人石等，这些形象在我眼里都是被排除的群体，不在正常的共同体之内的。他们被驱逐、被监禁、被隔离。同时他们在作品中互相游走，可以被互相连接，每一个又都是一个机器，但又同时可以被解域，与其它机器产生生成。
福柯在《疯癫与文明》对疯癫史的研究中提到了愚人船（narrenschiff）的概念。在愚人船上，聚集着各种人，守财奴、异教徒、酒鬼等。这些被排除之人被带上愚人船，经过神秘的海域，流放到未知的地方。《他者》这个盒子里，就是一个异常者的聚集点，也是一个愚人船。同时他们又互相行走，解域的将这种互相隔离的状态打破。


This work is made of some apparatus. Each apparatus can be connected with other apparatus.
There have the fool, the hanged man, the leper, the werewolf, the circus, the surgical tray……
They are all be excluded.they are also the bare life。In this work they work from a place to another place. there are deterritorialization and becoming.

In Foucault’s Madness and Civilization, he talks about “the ship of fools (narrenschiff).” The ship of fool is a space for abnormal people. When people do something strange or have sick like Leprosy, they will be isolationed and be sent to the ship, and be exiled to the sea.

This work just like “the ship of fools”. It`s a collect of the abnormal things. But they can also be deterritorialize and becoming.
