24/7式（即一天24小时，一星期7天的缩写，全天候服务的意思）的市场与支撑持续工作和消费的全球建制已然运转多时，然而现在，一种新的人类主体正在形成，与24/7体制更紧密地配合起来。24/7标志着静态的冗余沉积。黑夜的照亮，暴露了一切，使人失去睡眠。24/7消灭了阴影、朦胧，与交替的时间感，与普遍的“去世界”状态一致。24/7极度的简化歌颂的是当下的幻象。我想把这个视频作为一条警告，一个逃离信息，如果我们仅仅只是消费社会的一员的话，我们将仅仅被一个循环往复的过程所驱使。事物如日夜更迭那样重复出现，又不断消失。
The 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, meaning service around the clock) and the global system of supporting continuous work and consumption have been running for a long time. It symbolized static redundancy. It is illuminated, wordless and exposed to all. The extreme simplification of 24/7 sings about the illusion of the moment. I wanted to make a warning to have people being aware of the habit —being a slave of the modern life repetition over and over.
Like W. H. Auden once said “Or else we make a scarecrow of the day,Loose ends and jumble of our common world,And stuff and nonsense of our own free will;”
