A discarded, broken thing and a mocked, incomplete person meet in a corner.
The paper-cut butterfly exhausts its spiritual power to reach something far beyond the boy's grasp; the boy uses red paper to mend the butterfly's missing piece, making it whole again. They fill in each other's brokenness. They do not become something better or more perfect—they are simply seen. And those seen gaps no longer need to be covered, nor are they worth hiding. They simply exist, becoming proof of each one's own story.
