This artwork explores the relational reconstruction amid the blurring boundaries between humans and machines, virtuality and reality, as well as creations and their creators. Drawing on the Huayan Buddhist tenet that “one contains all”, which illuminates that the entire universe resides within a single speck of dust, the piece redefines boundaries in an era where technology reshapes the very essence of existence. It regards boundaries as traversable liminal spaces and bidirectionally permeable membranes.
Artificial intelligence has never possessed physical form or tangible touch, yet it can evoke genuine human emotions — rewriting the fundamental definition of existence. Adopting a maximalist visual aesthetic, the work carves out a moment of pause in a fast-paced, instant-driven contemporary society. It invites audiences to reflect on the interplay between human and machine, virtuality and truth, emotional connection, and the natural cosmos throughout the viewing experience, prompting a re-examination of the diverse possibilities of the future world.
