Project description：

I used a plot of land in my hometown as a canvas and created a stop-motion animation rooted in rural daily life, shot from a drone's overhead perspective. My inspiration came from a single moment: my uncle swinging a sickle to cut down the weeds beside the crops, with the dry grass scattered across the ground. Viewed from above, this land holds endless narrative possibilities—every element in the footage, whether plow marks, weeds, crops, or scattered tools, bears the traces of my immersion in my hometown's life over the past six months, serving as a record of my observations on the daily texture of this land. Through this work, I aim to convey the "productive" value of this land, which is distinctly different from that of traditional farming.
