The short film Myriad Hearts takes the transformation of a Peking Opera martial male role's technical prowess as its narrative thread, employing a point cloud particle system as its core visual medium. Through the language of digital art, it explores visual metaphors of "growth." The discrete, scattered form of the point cloud particles mirrors the chaotic, tedious, and mechanical repetition of basic training; the convergence and flow of the particles metaphorically represent the effortless ease and spontaneous expression achieved when skill reaches mastery. The vertical progression through four spatial levels—from a dim basement to a luminous, flowing stage—is both a spatial reenactment of the inner journey of learning opera and a visual metaphor for the spiritual growth of all practitioners of a craft.
On the technical side, I have developed a 3D creative workflow with AI as a core assistant. This choice is not merely a pursuit of a technological trend, but rather a comprehensive consideration of creative efficiency, visual expressiveness, and ways to expand thinking. It aims to explore new possibilities and innovative paths for integrating AI into 3D software creation.
