Symbiotic Protocol is not merely a work that moves from the “digital” into the “physical”; it is more like an experiment about connection.

The concept of the work first emerged in virtual space—like the growth of data, the pull of energy, and two independent life forms testing, approaching, stretching, and resonating with one another through difference.

When the digital form is transformed into an installation, virtual flow becomes solidified into a tangible structure, and the traces of algorithms become the breath of material. The tentacle-like extensions reaching outward resemble nerves, mycelium, and marine organisms, while also suggesting the invisible sensitivities that exist between people.

What I want to express through “symbiosis” is not complete sameness, but the possibility of rebuilding connection among different frequencies, different directions, and different individuals.

To build connection through difference, and to reshape the future through connection.
