This design centers on the brand "Minghua Youzhu" (e.g., the App design section). As its name suggests, "Minghua Youzhu" represents the integration of the Way of Tea and the Way of Flowers.
• Ming = tea
• Hua = flowers
• Zhu = brewing/artisanal preparation
It embodies the traditional Chinese aesthetic of daily life, especially the art of tea appreciation. Meanwhile, it actively responds to hot topics such as the national Two Sessions’ development strategies for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), as well as young people’s pursuit of a medicine-and-food homology lifestyle.
Within "Minghua Youzhu", "Shier Mei" serves as the brand’s core mascot. Her design is inspired by bringing "TCM floral ingredients" to life:
• The most authentic forms of tea herbs are extracted and incorporated into her headdress as a visual symbol.
• A Q-version figure is adopted to recreate the shapes of the flowers.
• Features like double-ring sideburns and gentle, elegant attire inherit the cultural genes of neo-Chinese style clothing, while her soft and cute temperament lowers cultural barriers.
This makes the medicine-and-food homology concept more accessible to the public, and also acts as a new medium for the inheritance and innovative development of TCM.
