This work adopts the classical mythological system of Classic of Mountains and Seas as the original "code" for its creative perspective. Inspired by the contemporary context where traditional Chinese mythology collides with digital technology, it explores the relationship between ancient mythology and digital civilization.
What kind of deconstruction and reshaping will mythical creatures that embody natural chaos and primeval power experience when encountering the digital torrent? What price will the birth of a new mythology in the technological era come with? We hold that this is not a simple visual reproduction of myths, but a profound digital alienation. Having gone through fragmentation by digital glitches, discipline of technological aesthetics, and reshaping by information redundancy, mythical creatures eventually evolve into the ultimate will that dominates the "Digital Veins of Mountains and Seas". It is not only a contemporary interpretation of traditional mythology, but also a philosophical reflection on technological civilization.
