The work uses architectural projection mapping as its medium, translating "humanity’s arrogant exploitation of nature" into an audio-visual narrative:
The ordered urban lightscapes represent humanity’s taming and control over nature;
The out-of-control crimson hues and distortions embody nature’s backlash, a metaphor for the collapse of human civilization;
The final crystalline forms of reconstruction symbolize forgiveness and reconciliation in the aftermath of destruction.
Rather than aiming for criticism, the work uses the interplay of sound and light to question the boundary between "civilization and wildness": when we attempt to conquer nature, we will eventually face its retaliation. Only by letting go of arrogance in the ruins can we hear the echoes of the earth and attain true forgiveness and rebirth.
