ECHO | trailer [CORA x Movimentoinactor] Original

The project originates from the previous project "The Artist is Absent", finding in this new experimentation, in addition to an active interaction of the public, an uninterrupted collaboration between a physical dancer and his digital replicas.

The digital bodies are made starting from the recording in motion capture of the dancer himself, reworked with 3D modeling techniques, thus allowing the performer to exist in several forms simultaneously in the same space, as an echo of himself. The project, site specific, consists of an intervention in an environment through the placement of virtual dancers that the audience, through the use of their smartphone, can place at will, creating personal choreography in a substrate of reality, the Augmented Reality.

The project was made for Movimentoinactor Dance Company in Pisa (Italy).
