“Forest Meditation · Interactive Gaussian Point Cloud”

This work begins with a video of the forest captured on a mobile phone, then reimagined through TouchDesigner’s Gaussian point cloud reconstruction, transforming the natural scene into a digital meditation space. The generation of the point cloud is not merely a visual reconstruction, but also a journey of the inner self.

The camera slowly traverses into the depths of the forest, where a dazzling light gradually emerges, as if one were entering the core of the inner world during meditation. With the introduction of music, energy expands outward from the heart of the forest, particles resonate with the rhythm of sound waves, breathing with a sense of vitality. Music is not just a background, but the driving force: it guides light and particles to expand through space, pulsing like a heartbeat that stirs the senses.

As the camera returns, the once still particles begin to move, symbolizing the transformation and awakening of the inner world. In this virtual forest, the audience experiences a “digital meditation”: a fusion of sight and sound, where external nature and inner spirit converge in the resonance of point clouds and music.
