INZLAB’s represented artist Tyrell Studio introduces cutting-edge technology into the field of artistic interaction with the newly developed real-time tracking system Argos.
The system seamlessly integrates automotive-grade LiDAR, machine learning, and predictive algorithms, capturing the flow and vitality of space through the eyes of data.
Unlike traditional markerless tracking systems, Argos enables high-precision real-time tracking of people within large and complex environments.
It offers outstanding versatility and compatibility, integrating effortlessly with leading new media software such as TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, and Unity, and is also compatible with industry-standard control systems like the grandMA lighting console.
Through the coordinated deployment of multiple LiDAR sensors, Argos can cover virtually any spatial scale and complexity—
be it indoor exhibitions, outdoor public art, or immersive live performances.
Its robust performance allows it to operate reliably under challenging conditions such as direct sunlight or rain, while its intuitive setup enables deployment in under an hour, empowering artists and curators to create with exceptional efficiency.
Argos is more than a technology—it is a new way of sensing.
It allows space to see its audience and enables a symbiosis between algorithms and art,
opening the door to the next generation of digital storytelling and interactive experience through the dynamic flow of light and data.
