Linescapes Original

With Linescapes, Guillaume Marmin continues to explore the relationship between sound, light, and space. This new installation focuses on how basic shapes such as lines can create perspectives and volumes. The minimalist visuals are reflected and multiplied by the display, which creates geometric 3D landscapes. The contents offer a new synaesthetic alphabet, a common language between visuals and sounds, rhythms, contrast and sleek moving patterns. As in an abstract movie, the tension is amplified by the interaction between the music and the image.
Visitors are invited to enter the artwork and participate physically. Guillaume Marmin wants to place the viewer as a fundamental element of this project : « I would like visitors to Linescapes to feel as if they are walking through a musical score. »
