The Hollow Men is inspired by a dream where I found myself surrounded by mirrors, each reflecting a version of "me" attempting to break free and replace my real self. Strangely, I felt no shock or aversion, only a calm acceptance of these reflections as integral parts of who I am. T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land deeply influenced the conceptual foundation of this work, with its themes of fragmentation and existential reflection. Additionally, the cinematic narrative of Spirited Away and the creator’s complex emotions toward the New York subway system served as key inspirations, enriching the project’s exploration of identity, transformation, and the interplay between reality and illusion.
