Water is the source of all things, the clan of all living beings. Water conservancy is determined by the sky. In the long history, the rise and fall of human civilization is often accompanied by the shadow of rivers, lakes and seas. Guangzhou, located at the confluence of the West River, the North River and the East River, is interdependent by water and land, with a vast hinterland, bordering the river and the sea in the south, and connecting the countries of the ocean. The ancestors of South Vietnam "were good at handling boats and boats, and the traffic was like the wind" "The state governs the sea, and the sea flows are autumn and salty" "The chisel is connected to the boat, and the hurricane can not be harmed" and other records and archaeological discoveries have recorded the long and close interaction between Guangzhou city, people and water. In 2000, the discovery of the wooden sluice gate in the South Yue country attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. How was it built, what is the surrounding environment, what water flows connect the upstream and downstream, and how does it work? Following the starting point of Nanyue Kingdom's wooden sluice, we want to use virtual simulation to answer these questions, and extend to the development process of Guangzhou's water city symbiosis in different historical periods, and then explore the ideal model of harmonious co-prosperity between people and water, city and water in the present and future.
