Artist Wangtianxin 《The wind from the sun》 originated from Wang Tianxin's self-drive journey on the Tibetan Plateau in winter in early 2024. The artist traversed the snow-covered mountains in a self-driving, purely electric vehicle, and witnessed the deep interweaving of indigenous communities, natural landscapes, and modern technology between the desolate highlands full of photovoltaic power plants and mysterious wildlife habitats. The Promethean predicament of civilization embodied in this phenomenon coincides with the artist's long-standing concern about how technology can reshape the state of human existence.
