《启》 Original

Inspired by the word "Poiesis", an ancient Greek word meaning "poetry and artistic creation" and "activity that brings new life to the world", the work is based on the theme of science and technology, AI and human symbiosis, through music, video and dance. With the theme of science and technology, AI and human symbiosis, the work uses music, video and dance to create a virtual AI space of our own conception.It takes the form of a white volumetric block placed in the center of the stage, which we materialise as a data module that will form an intrinsic connection with the dancers. The logic of the work's visual generation is that in a limited space, there is the initial imitation form of AI, executing the computer language of if else; there is the AI that becomes a conceptualised particle, and consciously starts to actively learn about the human world by utilising its huge accumulation of data and computational power; and there is also the AI that simulates the social relations of the human world and builds its own social relations in the human world, after infinite self-re-learning, re-expansion, and re-upgrading. In the process of combining video and modern dance, I try to explore a fuzzy field of perceptible and unknown worlds. In this conceptual space, abstract elements and dancers create a unique perceptual experience, and with the help of real-time interactive technology to express the work, I hope that viewers can experience this imaginative journey in space and time with me.
