In 2023, Japan initiated the discharge of nuclear contaminated water into the sea, and the surrounding environment has undergone similar changes as Chernobyl. In the next five years, nuclear contaminated water will flow from the Pacific to the world.
The work showcases the impact of environmental issues such as nuclear pollution on marine ecology through biological design and fictional storytelling. Presenting the virtual future ocean environment to viewers through illusory scenes, triggering their reflection on pollution issues.
