The historical district «Millionka» in Vladivostok, Russia turned out to be some sort of a cage for the Chinese immigrants who lived there back at that time. A cage into which they were first driven, and then kicked out of. Images of individual people that were recreated from the archival photographs appear to be pulsating digital ghosts that make their way through time and come out of the walls. Each fragment lasts for 23 seconds and represents the 23 years period of its life in the area.
Original demonstration suppose to have a projection that directs through any barriers or scaffolings to represent the architecture layers of the «Millionka» and emphasize the situation in which people were like hostages.
