AURORA Digital Art Exhibition | Generative Gallery x VK Prostor Original

Generative Gallery in collaboration with VK and the Intention communications agency presents the digital art exhibition AURORA, inspired by aurora borealis, by nature and culture of the Murmansk region. It is the result of the work of an art residency held within the open creative platform Prostor, based on VK Education, in Murmansk in December 2022, where artists took inspiration and explored local context.

AURORA is one of the most unpredictable and mesmerizing physical phenomena, a unique visual performance of nature. It has been fascinating people for centuries. They perceived it as a mystical trace of their ancestors, a bridge between worlds, a dance of gods. To this day it leaves no one indifferent.

The AURORA exhibition suggests bidding farewell to winter and diving into the unmatched ambiance of the North. The artworks was demonstrated from February 17 till March 3, 2023 on the facade of the Rio Leninsky mall every day at 6 pm.

The project is enrolled in digital installation and culture and tourism categories.
