The show was held in collaboration with Dynasty Music Orchestra at the Jazz Center Lincoln in Shanghai, and the studio was responsible for the design and realisation of the multimedia stage solution. The proposal used a semi-transparent projection medium to transform the theatre space without destroying the continuity of the space, creating the atmosphere of Shanghai's red lights and ten miles of ocean at night. In terms of visual design the team made extensive use of symbolic visuals to express the narrative of some of the experimental music tracks and to enhance the infectiousness of the performance. We put gyroscope sensors on the orchestra conductor to collect information about the amplitude of the arm swing, and the amplitude of some of the visual lines can be changed with the conductor's movements, making the whole space have the same frequency resonance effect. We also used sound visualisation techniques to generate real-time dynamic projections of the sounds of the classical repertoire and the brass duet repertoire.
