Immersive Sculpture II Original

This body of work explores the "phygital" phenomenon— where the physical and digital connect and create two different immersive experiences. The video shown is a digital documentation of a physical sculpture that I translated into an experimental film. When installed in person, this experience includes both the physical sculpture and the experimental film projected in the vicinity. One of many in my Immersive Sculpture Series, this piece takes a place of familiarity in nature and distorts it on a crafted landscape-- suggesting the distortion our perspectives create in our personal realities.
