As a neurodegenerative disease common in the elderly, the impact of Alzheimer's disease on society is becoming more and more difficult to ignore with the trend of global aging.
However, the lack of understanding of the disease makes it difficult for many patients to get timely treatment and correct care, and they suffer great physical and psychological suffering.
This project is to give people an opportunity to intuitively understand Alzheimer's disease, to understand the symptoms and feelings of patients, and to raise awareness and thinking about the disease.
The project extracts images of 5 classic scenes of life, representing time - space - item - word - face. Through video and audio processing, combined with AR, the world in the eyes of patients is presented.
Through the Artivive app, visitors scan different images of the scene, which will show the effect of the patient's eyes on the screen. Some scenes are also combined with audio to reflect patients' symptoms and emotions.
Through simple interaction, the patients' visuospatial disturbance, agnosia, hallucination and other symptoms are visually presented to the visitors through the mobile phone screen, providing a sense of immersive experience. I hope to leave a deeper impression on people through interactive science popularization.
