DECAY is an experimental short film using machine learning technology. Originally, the word 'decay' is used to describe something being rotten or decomposed through the action of bacteria and fungi in the context of biology, but this action has been input as one part of the text prompt to guide the growth of digital form of life in the context of algorithm. As the landscape keeps decaying, it also keep regenerating itself. I make this experimental film to explore such uncertainty: with the ongoing generation of life in the context of algorithm, whether the boundary between human-being and machine, manmade objects and non-manmade objects, organisms and Inorganisms, is still as soild as ever before?
