This film is the installation of "Duck" and "Balloon" in the garden of YING Art and Design Studio, with the effects of natural light and indoor lighting. The installation is composed of kaleidoscopes of different shapes such as squares, diamonds, and triangles. When looking at these kaleidoscopes, the mirror reflection of the garden landscape will form a multi-faceted symmetrical figure no matter from which angle. This is the role of the mirror. On the one hand it is creating structure, on the other hand it is establishing symmetry. The subtle interaction between the reflection of light and us is like taking a mirror in our daily life. One side is the real world, and the other side is the virtual world. The graphics of the kaleidoscope device are derived from the traditional Chinese graphic game Tangram, which is converted from two-dimensional into a three-dimensional device, which is designed to be a multi-shaped kaleidoscope with overall appearance and structure that can be fully viewed. Different from the traditional kaleidoscope, Through observation, we can see that the garden landscape is blooming from the outside to the inside, and it looks like a wonderful visual effect cut into blocks. From the time-lapse photography records of the natural light video in the morning and evening, we can see the interaction between the kaleidoscope and the natural environment and people. Let the viewer feel happy, relax and happy. Light and shadow move in the environment and the kaleidoscope device. Tree shadows, birds, butterflies, fish ponds, and other scenery have more different viewing angles through the kaleidoscope.
