CODA

CODA takes it's name from the world of dance and classical music. In both cases, it is the final part, the few conclusive bars of a ballet or a musical piece. This installation is a futuristic transposition of a ballet in which the dancers are replaced by lights. The group of mechanized and luminous bodies then performs choreographies of light in unison or in individuality using a unique and avant-garde choreographic vocabulary. The device is composed with 20 robotic arms coupled to 1.5m RGB pixel LED strips. They describe a living and dynamic luminous architectural structure.
