Take music collection as an example: buying cassettes, CDs and vinyl is now considered nostalgia. Today, music is ‘rented’ or ‘licensed to user’ in a purely digital form. In a similar way, can we ‘rent’ digital artworks? Can virtual creations be as valuable and collectable as fine art or wine? Blockchain redefines the value of virtual objects and introduces the concept of ownership over digital assets.
