In the Arctic, half of the year is shrouded in sunshine, while the other half is full of endless darkness. Day and night, black and white, their distance is so far, as if they were two distinct extremes. The polar day and the polar night are physical phenomena that can be determined immediately. Their distinct characteristics of black and white seem to indicate some humanized colors: is the distance between black and white really so far? Is the definition of right and wrong really so clear? In the work, we try to take the north pole as the carrier, rethink the unknown possibility in the ravine extreme of black and white right and wrong, and look for a touch of gray in the black and white commercial reference.
Interaction Description: the work consists of two videos: black-and-white monochrome and gray tone. When the viewer is far away from the video, the video presents black-and-white. When approaching slowly, the video will gradually change into gray, and there is a smoke effect in the process of changing.
