A series of Strange Attractor particle systems. The Lorenz Attractor (and many others) is a dynamical system that exhibits chaotic behavior because it has sensitive dependence on initial conditions. Developed by Edward Lorenz in 1963, when working on a system simulating atmospheric convection. It consists of 3 differential equations that describe the systems change at a certain time. This makes the system time dependent.
