Quantum Travel Original

Concept：

The advancement of technology has drastically proliferated over the years, from Auto Learning AIs, Driverless cars, smart robots, to the phones we hold in our hands today. Our world has been digitalized so much and so quickly that we’ve forsaken our world’s plight: We are so engrained on developing the future, that we have completely forgotten the present.

T oday we invite you to engage with our fully man-powered, interactive light installation called Quantum Travel. The installation work by running on a treadmill, taking our kinetic energy and transferring the energy to activate the light art. When activated, the lights work in unison and perfect harmony to create the fantastical illusion of Quantum travel; allowing the audience to feel like they are time travelling. However, the twist is that no matter how much they run, they will never reach another destination. No matter how much they run they will never reach the end. This symbolizes the hopelessness and the non-existence of our future if we were to not address the current issues today such as climate change and pollution. With that message, we hope it will make people gain a newfound appreciation and drive to fix our present so that we can have a destination. As there will be no tomorrow if we don’t preserve our environment today.
