T for Turbulence - Day 21
This piece is a visually striking animation with bright and vivid colors. These colors create a high contrast aesthetics. Moreover, the animation is divided in half, creating contrast by blurring half of the animation.

The Notch ABC sequence of animations is a result of a 30-day challenge. I pushed myself to create one artwork every day. The challenge was a very intuitive process since I had to develop ideas very quickly. I designed each animation with Notch. As a constraint, I picked a letter from the alphabet, which defined either a technique in the software or a design concept I had to follow. In this series, the real-time aspect of the works was crucial for me. I use many devices to implement interaction into my pieces—for example, Kinect, Leap Motion, various HMDs. In my artistic approach, interaction is essential. I aim to digitalize human gestures to create a more intimate connection between the real and the virtual world.
