▵ 模特在Scarab底部自由穿梭

以布洛斯菲尔德镜头下交织缠绕的奇异植物细节与独特的排列组合为灵感，通过立体几何结构搭建服装廓形传达缠绕的视觉效果，将人层层包裹在树枝藤蔓般的服装结构中，向大众传递人类与自然的共生意识——这是VII AW2021的设计理念。

Inspired by Karl Blossfledt’s photography of twisting and fascinating details of plants, and by using the sculptural structure to construct the silhouette of the clothing, the models are covered in layers of tree vanes and branches, communicating the awareness of the symbiotic living between human and plants. This is the design concept of VII AW2021.

▵ Scarab的整体效果

受Victor Wang的委托，从零工作室为VII AW2021新品发布创造了Scarab。VII的新作让我们看见了人类被植物包裹的样子，由此，我们构建了一个人与植物的共生的场景，从人类视角观测Scarab，怪异的模特在Scarab底部自由穿梭，我们仿佛能听到怪兽粗犷的呼吸，这是前所未有的。

Requested by VII’s fashion designer Victor Wang, Atelier Forest created Scarab for VII AW2021 Show at Labelhood. The new season from VII showed us the look of human covered by plants, and therefore, we built a scene where human and plants live symbiotically. Observing Scarab from human perspective, bizarre models moving across the space under the Scarab, we can almost hear the rough breath of the Giant. This is unprecedent.

▵ Scarab在秀场灯光下的细节展示

自然界中各种生物的形态是Scarab的主要灵感来源。在外观的设计过程中，我们参考并融合了微生物、植物、昆虫及不同怪诞细胞的形态，历经多次迭代，最终诞生了Scarab，她是有机的、充满生命力的。Scarab的加入，为有限的秀场空间增添了大量的场景感和空间感，Scarab由多个开放的空间组成，营造出一种人类与Scarab共同生活的世界中，同时也为走秀现场提供了更多的可能性。此外，在整体色彩选择上，我们果断采用了具有强烈现代感、割裂感的白色和银色，呼应了服装的主题配色，最终，一只庞然巨兽呼之于眼前。

The natural forms of existing creatures are the main inspiration of Scarab. During the design process, we referenced and combined the forms of microscopic creatures, plants, insects and all kinds of bizarre living cells. After rounds of iterations, Scarab is finally born. She is organic and full of living energy. The joining of Scarab activated the spatial and magical experience in the limited space of the show venue. The installation consists of three open spaces, created a co-living ecosystem between human and Scarab. At the same time, Scarab also provided more possibility for the models to walk through. Additionally, we chose white and silver colours to create a sense of modernity and isolation, which also echo with the theme colours of the clothing. Here she stands, a gigantic and monstrous creature.
