THE BRAIN 【開合】 Original

In 2059, Malthus's population theory is gradually reflected, and the contradiction between population and nature becomes irreconcilable. To this end, human beings put forward two solutions: open source, reduce expenditure. "The Brain" was born with The times. Under this world view, its new spatial form is "virtual city", which is characterized by simulacra and cloud. The virtual city means that the power of isolation no longer appeals to spatial representation, and the future city itself is an illusion isolated from reality. Future City is a surreal dream factory. With the expansion of the virtual world and the temptation from desire, the human beings who had been enslaved could not bear the current predicament eventually, and gradually joined the Brain project, removing all the limbs and leaving only the brain and modifying it to connect the "beautiful" virtual world. Most of humanity is lost in the virtual world and has forgotten about its ambitious space program. But never in human history has anyone stopped looking at the stars.
