"Blow Light"Is a new media light art installation based on the scene of an old closed subway station.
The idea of the scheme comes from thinking about the state of passengers waiting for a train in a subway station. How else can we make waiting for the subway more fun than just hunching over our phones or staring into space? For this reason, our plan assumes that the light beam is used to simulate the feeling of the strong wind blowing brought by the train, giving the light beam a materialization. When the train comes, the light beam seems to be shaken and rotated by the strong wind, and when the train leaves, it also simulates the strong swing under the influence of the wind. By simulating the materiality of the beam, it brings some small pleasures while waiting.
In the overall design of the scheme, because the lighting of the enclosed subway station mainly depends on light, the overall lighting source is appropriately reduced in the design of the whole scene, so that the display of the whole beam is more obvious. Through the distance difference between the train and the target position, the Angle and effect of the beam swing are controlled, so as to realize the idea of the scheme. In the demonstration of the scheme, because the station is closed and the lighting source is weakened, the light beam looks like a skylight pouring through the roof of the station, bringing a sense of wonder.
