The "Golden Lion Drum Shop" on Yongfu Road, Sanbu, Pingshi, was first opened in 1888 and has been a unique lion drum shop in Kaiping for 100 years. The "Golden Lion Drum Shop" was founded by Mr. Hu Houhatsu in 1888 and has been passed down from generation to generation and has been passed down for four generations.

"Jinsheng Lion Drum Shop" mainly produces more than 60 varieties of lions, dragons and drums in three series, and the production process belongs to the Southern Lion genre. More than half of the products are exported, and they are deeply loved by the Lions in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, with the largest sales to the Chinese community in the United States. The lions and drums produced by "Golden Sound" have been passed down for a hundred years, and the lion drums have a loud sound, excellent quality, exquisite production and novel style. In 2009, it was included in the catalogue of intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province.

The work uses linear style, cascading techniques and golden lion drums to make this intangible cultural heritage active in our sights through modern technology and parametric design. The lion's head retains the characteristics of the southern lion itself, and uses a line to extrude into a surface to express the lion's head. At the same time, led light strips have also been added to the eye part. The drum in the middle is made of layers of extruded hollowing out of the surface, and the lion drum is a Tyson polygon with modern technological elements.
