The work "Out of Control Boundary" explores the social problems brought to mankind by contemporary "privacy out of control". In the development of the general trend of data openness and sharing, the contradictions between self-disclosure, privacy concerns and privacy protection have become more and more intense. In Maslow's theory, privacy is a psychological need that arises at the stage of security needs after satisfying the need for survival.
The work uses immersive projection-based interactive devices to express privacy and security issues. The projection image collects the appearance information of the viewer and mobilizes the private material library we made. As the time the viewer stays in front of the projection increases, a large amount of dense virtual private information is progressively simulated. This information may be very similar to the viewer. Appropriate, giving viewers a sense of panic and loss of control when their privacy is leaked. At the same time, in the real-time tracking that the viewer cannot avoid, it conveys to the viewer the thoughts of "whether our privacy belongs to ourselves", "do we pay enough attention to our own privacy protection", "do we still have privacy in the future?"
