Hakka folk song is a kind of Zhongshan folk song in China. It is called the sound of nature with the style of the Book of songs. It has a history of more than 1000 years since Tang Dynasty. Singing in Hakka dialect is called "Hakka folk Song". Hakka folk songs are widely spoken by Hakka people, with simple and vivid language, good use of metaphors and neat rhymes. Most of the lyrics are seven words in each sentence, with one, two or four sentences more flat rhyme.
Hakka folk songs in Meizhou have always been passed down from mouth to mouth, with a hundred tunes, cheerfulness and clearness. They are spread in hundreds of folk schools. They are the product of the integration of Central Plains culture and Meizhou aboriginal culture. The reason why we take it as a starting point is that it can give people enough space to play as a sound without concrete form. And music itself has rhythm sense and variable, sound and image blend, creating a visual feast of hearing.
