Sabrina Ratté - Radiances Original

This artwork was presented at the exhibition « SUIS-MOI JE TE FUIS / FUIS-MOI JE TE SUIS » as part of the satellite exhibitions program of the 4th International Digital Art Biennial organized by ELEKTRA. Radiances is a series of paintings in motion. Through a combination of 3D animation, video synthesis and digital manipulations, painterly textures and organic forms emerge to create animated landscapes. Sabrina Ratté is a Canadian artist whose practice includes video, animation, installations, sculptures, audio-visual performances and prints. Mixing analog technologies, photography and 3D animation, her work focuses on the creation of architectural environments, abstract compositions and landscapes. She investigates the unconscious influence of digital and physical spaces, and the interplay between these surroundings and subjectivity. Cette œuvre a été présentée à l'exposition " SUIS-MOI JE TE FUIS / FUIS-MOI JE TE SUIS " dans le cadre du programme d'expositions satellites de la 4e Biennale internationale d'art numérique organisée par ELEKTRA. Radiances est une série de tableaux en mouvement. Grâce à une combinaison d'animation 3D, de synthèse vidéo et de manipulations numériques, des textures picturales et des formes organiques émergent pour créer des paysages animés. Sabrina Ratté est une artiste canadienne. Sa pratique comprend: vidéos, installations, sculptures, performances audio-visuelles et impressions. Par le mélange de technologies analogiques, de photographies et d’animation 3D, ses oeuvres se situent à mi-chemin entre l’abstraction et le figuratif, le paysage et l’architecture. Son travail examine l’influence sensorielle et inconsciente qu’exerce l'architecture et le postulat qui fait de celle-ci une extension physique du domaine psychique.
